Trinetra Orchard is located in the lap of Himalayas, near Mukteshwar in the Kumaun range near Nainital in Uttarakhand. Motiyapathar is a small Himalayan hamlet untouched by foreign influences…pristine and yet unscathed. Trinetra Orchard is at approx 8000ft in altitude. It is surrounded by walkable coniferous jungle valley on the Southwest direction and a 400 km stretch of snow covered Himalayas visible on the North to East side creating a breathtaking and extensive Valley view.
Out of the numerous mesmerizing snow covered mountains that can be seen from here, the chief are The Trishul Parwat ( shrine of Lord Shiva) and The Nanda Devi Parwat ( shrine of Lord Goddess), showering their blessings across the horizon. Besides these The Nanda Kot, The Nanda Ghunti, The Gauri Parwat , The Hathi Parwat , The Maiktoli and The Panchachuli group of mountains are few other visible mountains. Trinetra is about 20 kms from Mukteshwar town and 14 km from Dhanachuli, it is about 60 km from Nainital, while Bhimtal is only about 45 km, the nearest train station is at Kathgodam about 60 km away, and the nearest airport is at Pantnagar about 100 km from Trinetra.
