Overview
Surrounded by rich flora and fauna of the Himalayas, at the heart of what is known as the lake district of Uttarakhand in Northern India, lies the quaint town, Nainital. Perched above Nainitals busy bazaars of today, amidst the thick Deodar forest and adjoining the famous Raj Bhawan Golf Course, lies Bhikampur Lodge.
The Lodge was originally built by a British resident in the late 19th century and was subsequently acquired by the Nawab of Bhikampur, Rehmatullah Khan Sherwani. This summer house of the erstwhile Nawab exudes an unmistakable aura of a bygone regal era.
